Having Fun in New England

I'm pretty tired of seeing others' blogs and seeing my update as "so confused", so I'm going to just post this to tell you that I'm having a great time with Callie and Andrew in Massachusetts.  Here are some of the highlights:

• Found Callie a coat for her birthday (not easy to do with those long arms and tall talls!)
• Saw where Andrew grew up and visited his Dad at his childhood, teen, and "current' home
• "Started" on the official Boston Marathon start line!  That was SO COOL!!  So close to Andrew's house...like a mile away.
• Went to the Boston temple with Callie and Andrew
• Saw lots of BEAUTIFUL trees with lovely leaves still cleaving to their branches
• Ate dinner with my cute Sis-in-Law MA and Emily and Trevin (Jess was sleeping upstairs lol)
• Went to a Celtic game AND made it there alive (jess is a CRAZY driver!)...sat on the 12th or 13th row (there's a dispute about this haha) center court...very cool!  
• Made it on the MEGATRON at the game and was collected enough to pull out my camera to snap a shot
• Visited Cape Cod and found out there's a Panera bread there...yep, just as good as Seattle (Marcia said - couldn't you try a NEW place? haha)
• Visited a very fun Christmas shop and found some fun things with Callie and Andrew
• Got to drive Callie's "new" Mazda...yep, I can still drive stick shift without killing it! :)
• Caught up on Harry Potter 4 and 5 so that Andrew can go to the 7th (they will still need to rent the 6th...I think I forgot to buy that one, but brought my 4 and 5)
• Went to a very nice ward with Callie and Andrew...subbed playing the piano for their choir (why not make myself useful!)
• Listened to an excellent sunday school lesson taught by our own Callie Jennings...found out one of her students is related to us in a distant way
• Played The Construction Game with Callie and Andrew and lost, but still loved it!
• lots of hugs from Callie!
• Dinner with Allen and Judy and C&J...so nice that they wanted to meet up
• Vegged out at C&J's while they worked...caught up on some scripture study, rest, and TV haha  There are so many dumb programs on in the daytime!  Had to finally turn it off.
• Walked to the Big Y, but was bummed when they didn't give me a silver or gold coin when I bought groceries haha
• Watched Dancing With the Stars with Callie (she's a good sport)...Andrew "surfed"
• Can't wait to watch Biggest Loser - Catron family tradition - tonight with Callie and Andrew!  Bought Hunka Chunka Friendly ice cream loaf for our traditional pig out during BL 
• It will be fun to see Andrew's work site when Callie comes home from work

It's been fun to see Callie and Andrew together.  They have so much fun talking, laughing, playing together.  It's been nice to get to know Andrew better.  I enjoyed hearing a couple of mission stories on our drive last night.  I'm so grateful that Andrew absolutely loves his job and that Callie has a good job!  The best part is seeing that your children LOVE the Gospel of Jesus Christ and LIVE it!  I love that they're willing to serve and believe me -- their ward needs them!  

I will blog about Kara's later...I loved being there too!  And then hopefully I'll be able to post some pics!
